Social Media Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking a well-rounded, social media savvy individual with experience managing brand accounts, and implementing marketing strategies. Under the role of “Social Media Team Lead”, the qualified candidate will be joining AMS Digital’s Production Team to assist with the creation of digital marketing content, and the management of Google Business Profiles.

Job Type: Contract, 6-Month Maternity Coverage. Full-time

Salary:
$18/hour
Schedule: 35 hours/week,
Proposed Start Date: May 13, 2024

Job Responsibilities:
The Social Media Team Lead will be responsible for the setup, management and analysis of various client campaigns, and will report to the Operations Manager. They will work closely with our existing social media specialist to create content for use on various social media platforms.

Tasks

  • Social media account management
  • Social post creation and scheduling to client accounts for Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, Youtube and LinkedIn
  • Work with clients to plan and implement their social media calendars
  • Monitor social engagement and analytics
  • Google Business management and post creation

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Great understanding of the various social media platforms and their best practices
  • Knowledge of graphic design software like Photoshop and Canva
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, operating with limited supervision
  • Organized with the ability to lead a team and delegate tasks

Beneficial Skills:

  • Knowledge of G-Suite (Google Drive, Calendar, Sheets, etc)
  • Experience using Sendible or a similar social media management dashboard

    Minimum Requirements

    • High school diploma (or GED equivalent)
    • 1+ year of practical experience in social media management

    This is a remote work environment. The Social Media Team Lead will need to have their own internet access.
