Well it’s official, 2020 is finally over. Never (that we can remember) has a year coming to an end been more anticipated than this one. Last year we said that 2019 had brought both good and bad changes. I suppose we could say the same thing for 2020, though for some, these have been countless life changing events. Here are some of AMS’ most significant events.
Staff Changes
A few staff changes took place this year. We said a sad goodbye to Ty, one of our sales representatives, in March, as he took on the task of starting his own business. By June we had launched a brand new website for Suitable Buildings. Because of the pandemic, we transitioned to working from home, and a few of our staff members’ hours changed. Mid-August Steve brought Adam in to do networking, and Andy shortly after as a sales representative. Visit our About Page to meet our current staff!
Fundraising and community support
This Christmas we were happy to report that the family we supported in Cuba was continuing to do well. The kids are growing up quickly, and Maria has found a new job. This year Steve partnered with LEGENDZ Pub and put together a “Ping Pong Challenge”, raising $570 for Grace Inn Shelter in Belleville. He’s happy to report that he only lost one game.

We are continuing to partner with BlogBOQ to offer customized videos to our clients.

New Neighbours
There were a few changes this year in our building. New neighbours this year include Bewitched Beauty Studio and Quinte Cell Phone & Tablet Repair. We also eagerly anticipate the opening of DedEye Axe Throwing on the ground floor, and look forward to Bridgefront Towers renting the suite at the end of the hall to five new businesses.
The Work
Though times were different, we were definitely as busy as ever. We ensured all COVID-19 updates from our clients were promptly released, and took care to keep up with the ever-changing offerings of Google My Business. We were able to launch 9 new or redesigned websites. These include Exact Rent All, Garage Door Company of Southeastern Ontario, Ducky Brand Apparel and Frontenac Denture Clinic. We also have several more underway right now. We welcomed several new marketing clients, and are excited to welcome many more in 2021.
