We share in the collective sigh of relief as neighbourhoods start the process of opening doors.  Though we may still have questions and varying degrees of anxiety, the light at the end of the tunnel is at last before us.

Givers gain is a well-known credo in most professional networking organizations, it’s a philosophy based on the law of reciprocity. We are suggesting that the benefits supporting other local businesses will bring to your own are definitely worth giving your attention to. 

Here are 3 ways you as a local business can support other neighbourhood businesses

  • Support  – Make your own commitment to buying local
  • Refer – if you can’t provide a particular item or service, promote another local business that does. (Don’t forget to have the customer mention your company gave the referral)
  • Play Nice – Don’t knock or undermine a competitor or another small business. This never makes you look good.
